Heavy CFV - Artillery Version by eRe4s3r Heavy CFV - Artillery Version by eRe4s3r
Here it is, my "prototype" long range rail-gun artillery Model on top of my CFV

Full-View advised ;) The Turret can only be adjusted slightly up and down but it fields a 360mm Railgun with a overall length of a bit more than 14m

180k Polygons ;) C4D, Saturation Adjusted in Photoshop

Of all the versions you have, this is definitely my favorite. If you're ever going to use this scene again, maybe add some tire tracks on the ground next time? ;)

Now that i know how to do that, i may actually consider it, unless lazyness strikes me down with a heavy "crunch" ;)

I like the effort you have put into the scene. The vehicle on it's own would've been interesting but the scene is really nice. Them's big shells in the background, good perspective.

That'd be definitly a course i could take, although i dont think it would fit well with CnC3's fast gameplay, this unit is more of the "drive in position, calculate trajectory, fire and obliterate anything" variety :) I was thinking of putting it in supreme commander however, once i figure out how the heck the sdk works... that would actually support the range i had in mind, as a "anti-experimental" weapon, and long range "straight fire" obliteration weapon... heh!

That said, i should really try to understand the supcom sdk and art-pipeline one day....
